Asana, the physical practice of Yoga, combines breath and mindful movement to prepare the body and spirit to integrate the more subtle practices of the spiritual path. Classes will interweave Yoga philosophy, alignment, Ayurveda, breathwork and creative sequencing. Join me for a class to reconnect to yourSelf.

Facilitated Stretch

MON 11am - 12pm
The Peace Offering

A class centered around breath matched with mindful movement and proprioception. This class incorporates a facilitated stretch method that is a safe and effective approach where we focus on simultaneously contracting and lengthening a muscle. This method of stretch stimulates the Golgi tendon organ, a sensory receptor located at the muscle-tendon junction that responds to muscle tension. The Golgi tendon then sends a message to the brain indicating that it is safe to release. Movement and flow is supported by a stable foundation, allowing us to dive deeper into our breath and allow the posture to unfold in its time. Expect longer holds in poses.

VibroYoga Reset

TUE 4pm - 5pm
The Peace Offering

This restorative class will serve as a massage for your nervous system or a system reboot. In this unique class, your yoga mat rests on a Vibroacoustic platform, emanating gentle vibrations synchronized with serene soundscapes. These vibrational frequencies promote deep relaxation. This class may include gentle yin and restorative yoga postures, pranayama, and yoga Nidra. After this reset, step back into your day feeling rejuvenated.

Emphasis is on long held, passive stretching to enhance flexibility in the connective tissue that forms our joints.
Yin is a deep, receptive and meditative practice that complements the common emphasis on movement and alignment-based yoga asana.

Combine a yoga class followed by a soothing sound bath savasana or enjoy a sweet pairing of yin yoga in tandem with a sound bath,allowing for a deep state of surrender. Classes will be tailored specifically for your group's needs and preferences.
