ABHYANGA
It is believed that the effects of Abhyanga are similar to those received when one is saturated with love. Like the experience of being loved, Abhyanga can give a deep feeling of stability and warmth. Even the Sanskrit term for oil, snehana, translates to love. A traditional Ayurvedic massage where a generous amount of warm herb-infused oil is massaged from head to toe into the skin with intentional movement. This therapy is deeply grounding and nourishing to all of the tissues and joints. The treatment is detoxifying and supports a healthy digestion, sleep patterns and is soothing to the nervous system.

Ayurveda approaches treatment from a holistic view, assessing your unique patterns and guides you into a deeper understanding of yourself: mind, body and spirit. With this wisdom, you begin to learn what is a poison and what is a medicine for you.
During our 1:1 consultation we will discuss your current and past tendencies to begin to assess where the imbalance may be originating. Based on this insight, you will receive a wellness plan that weaves Ayurveda therapies into your daily life based on your individual needs and seasonal wellness practices, helping to restore balance and guide you back to your true nature.
